Celtic Neo Pagans on the Net

I know many contemporary Pagans are members of modern druid orders. Some are attempting accurate historical recreations of paleopagan, or historic pre-Christian druids. Others are more eclectic. I am not a Pagan, so I can’t help those of you who are interested in current druid beliefs, rituals and groups. But there are a number of internet resources out there for modern Pagans.

If you are a Pagan and use AOL, you should make a point of visiting BrinInSF‘s site, especially her Pagan Defense Manual.

There are several contemporary druidic organizations, like the Order of Bards, Ovates, & Druids.

Another is the Henge of Keltria.

A third is the ADF or Ar nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship, Inc.

And there is also the Reformed Druids of North America, who have given a hom to the “Druid Archives and the Neopagan Academic Research Center.

Isaac Bonewits founded the ADF and has been very active in modern druid and Pagan organizations and has his own personal homepage. Imbas is one of the groups interested in historic re-creation of ancient Celtic spiritual traditions. Another source for historic re-creation and Celtic spiritual traditions is the Nemeton mailing list.

I am not a member of any of these groups and have no connection to them or to their web sites. It seems to me a religious quest means you have to seek before you can find, so go ahead and embark on your personal digital immram. Happy seeking, and I hope you find what you are looking for.
